The second full day in Kauai started on the north side of the island at the Kilauea Lighthouse where colonies of Red-footed Boobies were super active in building nests.

A friend from school shared a favorite photo spot for views of the Golden Gate Bridge at Marshall Beach. We timed dinner and our arrival with “golden hour”, leading to some amazing vistas of the bridge.
With a SLR, tripod, and clear skies by the bay, I was able to play around with light exposure and time.
