It’s just a morning walk in Kauai before heading over to the next destination, Oahu.
The hotel that we have been staying by has a nice trail that meanders along trees and beaches.
With the nearby hotels, local birds didn’t seem to be that afraid of people, allowing me to get some clearer pictures of birds that I saw in prior days. The Chestnut Munias are tiny birds with huge beaks. I couldn’t get a good picture showing off the proportions. Spotted a Black-crowned Night-Heron too, which is a common sighting in Oakland.
Time to head to the airport for a super short flight to the next island, Oahu!
