San Francisco’s Botanical Gardens has 50+ acres of gardens and flowers, which also creates a great place for hummingbirds to hang out.
On this visit, we saw a few hummingbirds with orange feathers. Being small and fast-moving targets, hummingbird species can be difficult to identify.

Bird Facts: Hummingbirds are extremely territorial due to their constant need to eat to survive. Male hummingbirds will chase others out of bushes and trees in hopes to take claim to all the flowers.
